Head of Talent

Who we are

Graphite is a digital customer experience agency based in Brighton, with team-members working remotely throughout the South East of the UK.

We offer Research, Strategy and Design consulting services to the World’s Health, Pharma and Wellness organisations, and our vision is to work in collaboration to create solutions that result in a positive, measurable impact on people’s health and wellbeing; improving lives every day.

Why join Graphite?

Graphite has a supportive, driven culture. We look out for one another, and help one another to grow, and do our best work in collaboration with one another.

We are passionate about realising new research, strategy and design opportunities, and working towards making a difference to global health through digital research and design innovation.

Graphite is experiencing a period of rapid growth, having doubled in size since ‘lockdown 1’ in March 2020 - a high level of demand from existing clients as well as new ones is creating growth opportunities for everyone within the agency and for the agency itself.

Unfortunately we are unable to show a large proportion of our work online due to client confidentiality agreements, however it is fair to say that we are operating at a very high level with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the World.

The Role

We have big ambitions for our future and will need to grow our team in order to achieve them. Talent is critical to fuelling this growth, and we’re on the lookout for someone who can help us recruit and retain bright talent, now and in the future.

You will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding talent effectively, proactively building relationships with talent in the sector, building our employer brand and supporting individuals right through to starting a role at Graphite and beyond - staying connected with everyone and will be the first point of escalation of any HR challenges. You will also act as the ‘voice of the employee’, oversee our benefits package, oversee the pay structure, and advise the SLT in key decisions which will affect the team.

We are looking for an individual to work with a full-time (37.5h) contract, and individuals may work remotely, in the Brighton office or a hybrid of both.

The Team

You’ll report to the Managing Director, and will be working in the BizOps team, which also encompasses Ops, Marketing and Finance - a team going from strength to strength, which will help support in administrative and practical terms when needed.

You will work in partnership with all of our departments, especially those in Delivery/Project Management to forecast and the hiring requirements, and work closely with Operations and Finance to oversee and enhance our onboarding process.

You

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Recruitment and Talent/HR, and should have worked in the digital sector or ideally a digital agency in order to understand ‘what good looks like’ in research, design, account management and project management talent.
